Mortgage Advice Bureau Network Partner Scotland has been awarded the Princess Royal Training Award for 2019 – making this their second consecutive award. They were awarded the accreditation for the development of their mortgage administrative programme.

The award recognises those employers who have developed a training programme that has made a real difference to the business as a whole and was presented at St. James Palace in London on Wednesday 30th October 2019.

The award-winning programme is a 6-week training academy designed to ensure those new employees hit the ground running. They implemented a robust six-week training programme consisting of one-week classroom training, followed by five-weeks academy support.

Speaking about the award, the company’s Senior Training & Performance Manager, Darren Polson, said: “In 2018 we became the only broker in the UK to win a Princess Royal Training Award in recognition of our adviser training programme. To win the award for a second year in a row is something we are very proud of. The processing journey is a critical part of our customers’ experience and the team thoroughly deserve this accolade. Huge credit must go to Kieran McKay and Jaimie Robertson for their involvement in the development of the programme and their staunch focus on delivering the very best customer care.”

 

Those businesses recognised this year displayed an exceptional dedication into training, up-skilling and re-skilling their workforce. Crucially, all were able to prove that the training had a substantial impact on their organisation and its people. Each recipient has been recognised for their innovative vision and dedication to addressing the specific challenges their industries face with highly effective training schemes.
