The role and responsibilities:

To support our case management proposition, we are looking to hire a Senior Mortgage Processing Expert to be based in our head office in Edinburgh. You will work as part of an ambitious and forward-thinking team, working in tandem with our self-employed mortgage brokers across Scotland.

Experience of using the MIDAS platform would be an advantage, although full training will be given.

The role will involve the following responsibilities:

  • Processing lender submissions, including keying decision in principles, applications and fulfilling Mortgage Advice Bureau’s compliance requirements
  • Document checking for our clients to ensure that they align to MAB compliance standards and meet lender requirements
  • Proactively managing and enhancing the client journey: working in tandem with the broker and lender through the mortgage journey from initial assessment, approval, to offer and post-offer stage, whilst maintaining first-class communication with the client
  • Communicating with broker/clients and lenders as the business demands
  • Proactively managing mortgage cases through to completion
