Name change and bigger premises for Mortgage Q in Bingley
Bingley based mortgage advisers, Mortgage Q, are extremely excited to move to a bigger premises and take on a new name and look too.
Mortgage Q has been based on Main Street in Bingley for over six years and is preparing to take over the old Yorkshire Bank building, just one hundred yards up the road.
To coincide with the expansion, Business Principals Andrew Milnes and Tim Robinson have taken the opportunity to update the name and image to Mortgage Advice Bureau. Mortgage Advice Bureau offers expert advice throughout the UK from a network of over 850 mortgage advisers.
Andrew Milnes explains what the move will mean for the business: “We have been looking for new premises for around two years. We were keen to stay in Bingley as we have developed strong links with the business community and local residents.
“The old Yorkshire Bank building has been empty since 2014 and we knew it would be the perfect size and location for us to enable the business to grow and achieve its potential, but we had to wait longer than expected for it to come on to the market. It’s taken a long time but we know we’ve made the right decision. I opened my first savings account at the branch back in 1978, I could never have predicted we’d be opening new premises here 38 years later.”
As a result of the move, the business has been able to grow its number of advisers from six to eight, which have been recruited and trained through the Mortgage Advice Bureau Academy. It also means the team can take on an office manager to assist in the day-to-day organisation and administration.
Andrew concludes: “We’ve invested a significant amount of time and money in the building to ensure it not only looks its best but also provides a welcoming environment for our customers. We’ve spent the last nine weeks refurbishing and reworking the premises to suit our needs. From the removal of the old banking counters and bullet proof glass, to installation of two interview rooms and full decoration.”
Mortgage Advice Bureau will open it’s doors on 105-107 Main Street in Bingley today at 9am.
