Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms", "Terms of Use") carefully before using our Service (defined as systems, websites, applications or web portals operated by Mortgage Advice Bureau, referred to as "us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Acceptable Use
Access is granted to the Service for legitimate business purposes only and to fulfil obligations contained within any associated contract or agreement such as (but not exclusively) our AR Distribution Agreement or IAR Introducer Agreement.
You are responsible for the security of the credentials issued to you to access the Service and must not allow these to be used by anyone other than in accordance with these Terms.
You must keep your password confidential. If you suspect that your password has been compromised, you must inform us at the earliest opportunity.
You must not use another person's username and password or make available or allow anyone else to access the Service using your username and password.
It is strictly prohibited to use the Service for creating, viewing, accessing, transmitting or downloading any of the following material:
- pornographic material (that is, writing, pictures, films and video clips of a sexually explicit or arousing nature);
- offensive, obscene, or criminal material or material which is liable to cause embarrassment to us or to our clients;
- a false and defamatory statement about any person or organisation;
- material which is discriminatory, offensive, derogatory or may cause embarrassment to others;
- confidential information about us or any of our staff or clients (except as authorised in the proper performance of your duties);
- any other statement which is likely to create any criminal or civil liability (for you or us); or
- material in breach of copyright, Financial Conduct Authority rules or any other UK law
Processing Personal Data
Your use of our Service may require the processing of personal data of clients or other third parties. Any personal data processed using our Service must be done in accordance with the terms of any associated contract such as (but not exclusively) our AR Distribution Agreement, MAB Adviser Agreement, or IAR Introducer Agreement, and in a manner compliant with UK Data Protection legislation.
Links To Other Web Sites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Mortgage Advice Bureau.
Mortgage Advice Bureau has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Mortgage Advice Bureau shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
