We are delighted to announce that our very own Catherine Green was not only shortlisted for an award at the Women’s Recognition Awards but has, in fact, won Protection Adviser of the Year.
The Women’s Recognition Awards celebrates leading women in the financial industry by acknowledging all their hard work and successes in a particularly tough industry. The awards also recognise businesses who are making big efforts to support gender equality at work.
This year saw more nominations than any for all award categories, and so it is a massive honour and privilege that Catherine Green took home an award.
Speaking on her award Cath said:
"I am delighted to have won the award for Protection Adviser of the Year. It was an honour to be a finalist and an amazing night to be a part of. The award means a lot to me because I have always had a passion for making sure my clients have complete peace of mind when taking out a mortgage and that they are adequately insured should the worst happen, and it is great to know I am doing a good job!"
Catherine began her career in the financial services industry in 2006 and has worked both as a mortgage adviser for a large estate agency chain but has also worked in business development for Nationwide Building Society. In 2016, Catherine decided to go back to advising and is now the business principle of Mortgage Advice Bureau Wallasey, alongside her co-owner Rachael Cashin.
