Mortgage Advice Bureau is the UK’s largest mortgage network, with access to thousands of products from over 90 UK lenders. As part of the team at Mortgage Advice Bureau’s Network Partner in Scotland, you would be working with one of the largest mortgage broking businesses in the country. 


We also specialise in new build lending with lasting relationships with builders who place their faith in Mortgage Advice Bureau securing clients’ mortgages in a swift timescale to meet demands of builder timescales. 


Job Description: 

The role involves maintaining existing new build introducer accounts whilst achieving new lead generation opportunities for the business.

It is essential that you have an ability to work to targets and build excellent relations with internal teams as well as external introducers.

We provide an introduction to all existing relationships and you will receive support from management to help nurture those introducers.  

We have an award-winning Training and Performance team, who can help you reach your full potential and achieve success.

You will be required to work weekends in line with builders’ work patterns. 


 Key Responsibilities


·       Nurture existing builder relationships

·       Drive inbound lead volumes through delivery of great service

·       Manage hospitality budget and organise suitable events

·       Responsible for reporting and MI of inbound leads

·       Take a proactive approach to generate new opportunities & introductions with external builders

·       Work closely with internal stakeholders   

·       Manage internal department support team

·       Support external communications by sharing industry knowledge and insight with our comms team


Person Requirements


·       A driver’s license is essential for this role. 
·       Previous Mortgage advising experience is required, new build preferrable
·       Previous Business Development experience is preferable, but not essential. You must be able to demonstrate strong relationship building skills.
·       Good written, oral communication and numeracy skills
·       Drive, ambition and self-motivation. 
·       Outstanding organisational skills, good time keeping and ability to control own diary. 
·       Be determined and committed to go the extra mile. 
·       Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced sales environment.  
·       Ability to work in a regulated environment. 
·       Experience of Microsoft suite of products, Word, Excel etc. 
·       Able to commute to our Edinburgh and Glasgow offices when required.
