Why I joined Mortgage Advice Bureau - Kerry's story
Kerry Wagner joined Mortgage Advice Bureau in February 2019; having previously worked as a mortgage adviser with an estate agency chain for 16 years.
We asked Kerry to share some of her experiences joining Mortgage Advice Bureau and how it’s been a positive and progressive step for her.
What are the benefits to being self-employed with Mortgage Advice Bureau?
I’m my own boss – I plan my own diary and fit that around my family. I feel like I’m running my own business but with the support of a huge network. Mortgage Advice Bureau is known nationally within the industry so I feel respected that I’ve got that branding behind me, but it’s still Kerry Wagner’s business that you come to for a mortgage.
What support do you have available?
The systems are great and the process of submitting a mortgage is so easy, there’s no unnecessary hoops to jump through like I had in my previous job. There’s always someone on hand to provide the right support when I need it – there’s so many different webinars and other people to learn from.
What’s your experience of working with Mortgage Advice Bureau been like?
Well, what can I say? It’s just wow. I just love every minute of it! My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.

Because we play by the book we want to tell you that…
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
There may be a fee for mortgage advice. The actual amount you pay will depend upon your circumstances.
The fee is up to 1%, but a typical fee is 0.3% of the amount borrowed.
