How long have you worked in the industry?

What does your role mean to a client?

I look after our wonderful team of Mortgage Case Managers and our 2 Lead Qualification teams. I am responsible for ensuring that we offer a comprehensive service for any potential clients that may need our support in the mortgage journey. Our team of Account Managers specialise in New Build mortgages as we are partners with several property builders up and down the UK.

We also have a specific team of lead qualifiers that help & support local buyers. Our Case Manager team are the engine of the business and ensure that our clients have a smooth experience by keeping them updated once their application has been submitted.

In 3 words describe the culture here at MAB?

Fun, engaging and development

Is there a specific client success story that brings you joy?

It's hard to pin this down to one. The most satisfying part of my role is seeing a client successfully getting a mortgage offer and moving into their home. We look to build relationships from the very first call from one of our Lead Qualifiers. Nurturing and supporting our clients from the start of the process to the very end when they move into their new home can take months or even years. It's always brilliant to see when one of our Lead Qualifiers has spoken to a client for months and then they find their new home and are ready to proceed with an application.
The number of Case Managers that are mentioned by name in our reviews is brilliant to see and really shows the impact that we have on a clients mortgage experience.

What was your first job? What did you learn that you still use today?

Funnily enough, my first role was in mortgages when I left school. I gained a wide range of knowledge and skills that I still use today (including how to make a good cup of tea )
