How long have you worked in the industry?

I worked in a similar role prior to this job however, it was not for a broker or within the financial services sector

What does your role mean to a client?

I look after the HR & Finance Team, Customer Care Team & our very high performing GI Expert! Although the HR & Finance team do not deal with clients, we want all employees and Advisers to enjoy what they do and their experience at work, similar to our philosophy around the client experience. This philosophy is also embedded in our customer care team. Our customer care team are responsible for checking in with clients throughout their mortgage journey to ensure all needs have been met & they have received the friendly, straightforward service all clients deserve.

Is there a specific client success story that brings you joy?

For me, it's the reviews we receive! I love seeing the reviews naming loads of individuals who have played a role in their journey. From our Client Relations Managers to BDMs to Advisers to Case Managers, it is great to see that every client is receiving first class service throughout.

From a HR perspective, we are a team who have grown together! Looking across the business, we have managers who started in operational or Adviser roles, Advisers who have progressed through our Aspiring Adviser programme as well as other individuals who have progressed over the years and are now utilising new skills in different departments or roles. Within the team too we have celebrated life milestones together! From becoming homeowners, to weddings, to welcoming new family members (including the 4 legged kind of course), we have all experienced the highs and lows of life as one big family- which is really special.

What was your first job? What did you learn that you still use today?

I worked in a jewellers! That every interaction is an opportunity to make someone's day. Cheesy but that's how I roll!

Do you have any pets?

Flora: 5-6yr old cockapoo. The real boss of my household who knows how to use her puppy eyes to get whatever she wants.
Lola: 6-7yr old tabby cat. The easy-going natured pet that convinced us that getting another one was a good idea! The most affectionate little girl.... only on her terms of course.

You just bought a new home? What room are you renovating first?

NONE. I am more of a DDIY person (DONT do it yourself) than DIY. I have a terrible track record of DIY so my new home will be move-in ready with big windows and shiny floors! In my new house, there will always be an assortment of candles and guests are welcome over any time.... once vetted by the dog ;)

What is your go-to meal after a long day?

Pizza!!
Every Friday, we bring in the weekend with wine, pizza and a movie! It is the highlight of my week and a tradition I hope we keep for many years to come!
