How long have you worked in the industry?

I have worked in the finance industry since I left university in 2023 after studying Accounting and Business at the University of Edinburgh. Whilst I have worked in finance I haven't worked with mortgages until I started here. Previously I have been a Financial Planner and Analyst followed by an Accounts Assistant.

What does your role mean to a client?

As a Mortgage Case Manager I will help act as an intermediary between the lender and the client. I will provide the lender with your relevant details as well as any documentation they require.

What was your first job? What did you learn that you still use today?

My first job was working at a local sandwich shop one summer. I would prepare sandwiches just as the customer liked them and serve everybody their favourite ice cream (including Peter Sawkins from The Great British Bake Off). When working there I learned the importance of teamwork and listening to everyone which are skills which I still try and implement into my work life today.

Do you have any pets?

No

You just bought a new home? What room are you renovating first?

I would probably renovate the living room first as that is where I will most likely spend a lot of my time. However, I will just be providing the ideas and inspiration while getting a hand from relatives or experts to help the image in my head come to life.

What is your go-to meal after a long day?

After a long day I am always craving something simple such as a pepperoni pizza or something unhealthy such as pulled pork loaded fries with lots of cheese!
