As a first time buyer I thought I had done all the research in the world about how to do things but I quickly learnt I didn’t know much at all. As soon as I contacted Joel and went through my options he made it very clear what was possible and what was the best way to go about everything. I can’t express enough how much of a help the team was everytime I called them I got put straight through if he wasn’t available they left a message and he called be right back. I was a phone in and the consultant Joel was extremely friendly and very helpful. He understood what I required and didn’t push me into anything I didn’t need, while still giving me the best deal. Over all Joel was an absolute legend.

I have been working with Paula Griffiths and Andrew Guest and they have been great. Paula did all the information gathering and application which was done swiftly and managed to avoid the next interest rate increase. She explained everything thoroughly and was honest throughout e.g advising you may get lower interest by paying a 1000 product fee upfront but you probably wont get that 1000 back on your size loan so not worth it which is great. She has communicated throughout and santander came back with an offer within 2 days so I imagine the pack Paula send over was very well done. Andrew then contacted me yesterday about the offer being given and I asked if I could call with questions about the solicitors questionnaire, he called me on the same day and helped me through it, explaining any questions I didnt understand. I definitely recommend both of these people as the communication is great and they make sure I understand everything

Clear guidance on all the options. No pushy sales, the decision is always yours to make. Once you have made your decision the process is very quick. Paul Smith has simply made mortgages a none issue for me over the last ten years.
