How much stamp duty do I have to pay?

Stamp Duty Land Tax, or Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT) in Scotland, is a fee you will have to pay if the property you’re purchasing is £125,001 or over.

The amount you will have to pay will vary depending on the price of your property. It’s important to calculate how much this will be so that you can factor this into your budget when considering your affordability.
