We celebrated the launch of our new premises with a special event attended by customers and local businesses.
The shop, located on Dock Street, is just a stone’s throw from the V&A museum in the heart of Dundee. Our 11-strong team pride themselves on always putting the customer first, and the new space will provide even more opportunities for customers to drop-in or make an appointment at a time that suits them.
After a period of sustained growth and making a flying start to 2019 by picking up a string of prestigious industry awards, we officially opened the shop with an informal meet and greet over canapes and drinks.
Lee McKelvie, director at Mortgage Advice Bureau in Dundee commented: “We started the business in 2016 with just two mortgage advisers offering mortgage and protection advice to local customers. Since then, we’ve grown to a team of 11 advisers, with a sales and operations manager too. We had really outgrown our previous offices and with the fantastic regeneration and redevelopment going on in Dundee, we were keen to be a part of this and move to the city centre.
“We had a fantastic time welcoming both new and existing customers into the shop, as well as bringing together the local business community. We plan to be at the heart of the local community for many years to come and support customers throughout their journey, whether they’re buying their first home, moving, remortgaging or putting in place protection measures. Our friendly team are happy to help – even if it’s just to stop by and ask a question without an appointment.”
The event was an opportunity for introducers, such as estate agents and legal professionals, to network and make strategic partnerships, whilst existing and new customers were given a tour of the shop and chance to meet their local mortgage team.
