Delighted local business owner Kate Fuller is celebrating with her team, having won two industry awards in the past week.
Kate, who is Business Principal at Mortgage Advice Bureau Crawley, has been in the financial services industry for over fifteen years, and has been established in the local area under the Mortgage Advice Bureau brand since 2011. Just over a year ago, as a result of expansion she opened her new premises in Peverill Court, London Road and recruited three additional staff into the business in order to cope with client demand.
Her outstanding customer service has led to the business scooping the Best Small Broker of the Year award at this year’s MoneyAge Mortgage Awards and the Silver award in the Best Mortgage Broker in the South East category in the 2019 Estate and Letting Agent of the Year Awards, also known as the ESTAS.
Kate and her team are clearly delighted at the recognition of their hard work, as both the MoneyAge Mortgage Awards and ESTAS are highly respected in the industry. Talking about her recent brace of accolades, Kate explains “We never rest on our laurels or take anything for granted. I passionately believe in delivering the care and service to our clients that I’d like to receive myself, so the team and I are constantly seeking out ways we can fine tune and improve what we do.”
Kate continues, “Over half of our business is from existing customers or as a result of client referrals, which you could argue is probably the most important recognition of all. As the business has expanded since we moved into our new premises, I’ve recruited more staff so that all of our clients receive the highest levels of personal attention. It’s one thing being busy, which is great, but it’s more important to ensure that our clients have had as much time as they need with their adviser and feel that all their questions have been answered in detail and that they feel comfortable.”
Kate adds, “Looking forward, we’ve just had a new adviser join us and we are aiming to recruit two more team members in the next twelve months. We’re also looking at more innovative ways to ensure that our customers receive regular touch points with us, so that we can ensure that their mortgage journey runs as smoothly as possible. The awards we’ve collected this week just spur the team and I on to achieve more and offer a five-star service which is second to none.”
