Following recent expansion, Mortgage Advice Bureau Tees Valley is moving to new head office premises on St Cuthbert’s Way.
The Darlington head office, which is part of the award-winning Mortgage Advice Bureau, opened its doors on Monday 24th June and will be the new home for the 15-strong team.
To cope with ongoing customer demand, Mortgage Advice Bureau Tees Valley provides mortgage and protection advice for Darlington and the North East areas. The firm’s advisers specialise in assisting first time buyers, home movers and those who wish to remortgage, as well as landlords who own buy to let properties.
Sales manager, Adam Swalwell who lives in Darlington and has been in the financial services industry for more than 18 years, first joined Mortgage Advice Bureau Tees Valley in 2012. The business’s rapid growth has prompted the company to expand its presence in Darlington, and when the premises at St Cuthbert’s Way became available, it was a perfect fit.
Adam said: “From the new premises, we’ll be able to offer our customer’s appointments with 11 mortgage advisers, as well as a dedicated front of house customer service adviser. We are in an ideal position to offer dedicated advice and support local people through the mortgage process.
“With the sustained growth of Darlington as an important regional town for the North East, the demand for housing and therefore expert mortgage advice is on the rise. We look forward to meeting new clients as well as welcoming our existing clients back who we have supported for many years.”
Mortgage Advice Bureau Tees Valley has also recently appointed several new staff to meet the increased levels of demand. This includes hiring experienced mortgage and protection adviser, Ian Nobbs, who first started out in the financial services sector in 1985. He looks after the firm’s largest partners from Newcastle to Catterick and prides himself on a customer centric approach.

The new Darlington head office for Mortgage Advice Bureau Tees Valley is based at 20 St Cuthbert’s Way from 24th June 2019 and will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Out of hours appointments will also be available from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, either at the new premises or with advisers visiting clients at home.
