Success at the Mid Devon Show
Here at MAB Crediton we think it's vital to not only work hard to help local people achieve their dream homes and guide them through getting a mortgage, but that it's also important to contribute to the local community. That's why we decided we wanted to take part in a local event where we could get to meet lots of new people from different walks of life. Angie and Sue have a very agricultural background and have lots of interests in the rural community and have been involved in agricultural shows and young farmers for many years Because of this, we decided to take part in this year’s Mid Devon Show, Saturday 24th July 2021, as, not only did it seem like the perfect opportunity to broaden our network, but it was also an event close to our hearts and interests.
Although this was the first time that we’ve participated in any event like this, it was a major success! We were massively surprised by how well it went and loved every single part of the process. Being part of this show allowed us to create memorabilia like stationary that we can use again and again, but it was also a great way to get to know our hometown better as well. Not only this, but again, doing the Mid Devon Show allowed us to reconnect with existing clients as well as having the chance to meet and socialise with new ones. And seeing everyone face to face for the first time in months was absolutely amazing.
We’d just like to say thank you to a few people, as the success of this event couldn’t have been possible without the help of a few special people.
Firstly, we’d like to say a massive thank you to Waysaway for providing the holiday prize for our competition. We hope the lucky winner Claire Heaven Roberts, enjoys her 3 night stay in the historic port of Dartmouth, Devon.
We’d also like to thank the organisers of the event for not only letting us participate, but also for helping us draw the winner of our competition. And we’d like to give them a massive shout out and thank you for awarding us third place for Best Trade Stand!
And lastly, we’d just like to say a massive thank you to our team- thanks Jenny for making the cakes- but also to all of you who came down to see us! We couldn’t have had such a great day without all your support.
We really enjoyed supporting the local community and taking part in this event and can’t wait to do more things like this in the future!
