We are looking for a Mortgage and Protection Team Manager to join our Glasgow office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a team of advisers to achieving pre-agreed objectives and will continue to provide advice to prospective and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
You will own the team target and will strive to develop your direct reports. You will uphold the overall integrity and development of the brand and be committed to producing the highest quality of work, with a clear emphasis on customer service.
The role obliges a professional and productive relationship with key members of the management team and you will embrace a constructive relationship with our training and performance team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversight of Mortgage & Protection Team
- Conduct weekly sales meetings with team members against business set targets
- Report into Head of Sales weekly sales projections, ensuring they are achieved
- Achieve personal business set targets
- Prioritise workload and deliver on service level agreements
- Carry out weekly client interaction observations on team members
- Coordinate training and development plans for new and current team members
- Support and enhance production with effective delivery of all cases
- Effective communication with advisers and clients
- Development and maintenance of in-house systems to facilitate the above
- Maintain service levels with partner firms and referral firms
- Uphold overall integrity of the brand and embrace business values
- Offer support where needed to the wider sales management team.
- Reporting outputs to management level
- Reporting on periodic stats and KPIs
- Helping other teams in the event of other managers being absent
- Any ancillary tasks required by senior management upon request
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
You will operate at the highest possible level and enhance the business and working
environment. The role requires an appetite for high standards, attention to detail and
teamwork. An in-depth knowledge of the industry is preferred and an ability to manage a
team and deliver on performance and quality standards is key.

Additional Responsibilities
This is a full-time role based in Glasgow city centre. Hours are 9-5 Monday – however as a
manager we expect you to go the extra mile for your team and your clients. There may be a
requirement for occasional travel and weekend work. The company will work with the
successful applicant to set clear objectives – based around strategic requirements and
around key initiatives.
