We cannot recommend Gemma highly enough! She was absolutely incredible from start to finish and genuinely went above and beyond to help us through the whole mortgage process. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always there to answer our questions, explain things clearly and reassure us whenever we needed it. She made what could have been a really stressful process feel so much easier. Gemma was professional, knowledgeable, approachable and genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for us. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better mortgage advisor and are so grateful for everything she did. Thank you so much, Gemma — we would recommend you to anyone without hesitation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just wanted to share our experience and give a huge recommendation to Pip Singh and Emma Bliss. When we started this journey, we genuinely weren’t sure whether getting a mortgage would even be possible. Between us, we have four defaults and a CCJ, and at 48 and 58, we also knew the mortgage term could be more challenging. From the beginning, Pip was reassuring and kept telling us that we would find a way forward. He went above and beyond, worked incredibly hard on our application and was always there to answer our questions and reassure us when we were worried. There were definitely moments when we thought it wasn’t going to happen, but Pip never gave up on us. And today, we have our mortgage offer! 🏡🎉 For anyone with adverse credit who thinks home ownership is out of reach, I would absolutely recommend speaking to Pip. Having a broker who understands adverse credit and is prepared to put the work in can make such a difference. Thank you, Pip and Emma for getting us here and for putting up with all my worrying along the way! 😂

Jane was excellent, clearly very experienced and knowledgable, knowing exactly what we needed to provide to prepare a mortgage application which resulted in a mortgage offer about 2 days after the application was submitted!! She was extremely flexible on when she could talk to us which was very helpful and made the whole process extremely smooth.

Questions about our mortgage calculators

What are mortgage calculators?

Our mortgage calculators are digital tools designed to help you estimate your potential borrowing power and mortgage repayments. They’re a handy way of helping you understand your financial commitments before speaking to one of our expert advisers.

Is using our mortgage calculators right for you?

Our free digital tools are designed for anyone looking to purchase a home. This means if you’re a first time buyer, someone looking to move home, or you’re on the hunt for a remortgaging deal, our calculators are for you.

What information do I need to use a calculator and how does it work?

We have several handy calculators for borrowing, mortgage repayments, remortgaging, and Stamp Duty.

These all require two to three pieces of key information, which the calculators then use to provide you with an indication on what the potential costs could be.

Please remember that lenders also take a close look at other factors. These will include your credit score, financial history, and personal expenditures. All of this information will affect the actual calculation of your mortgage and monthly repayments.

Our mortgage calculators empower you to be as informed as possible when it comes to finding the right mortgage deal for you and your circumstances.

What are the next steps after using the calculators?

If you’d like to discuss moving forward with your homebuying journey, our expert advisers are here to help provide guidance and answer any questions you may have. You can also download the My MAB app, which allows you to save, plan, and track every stage of buying your new home and beyond.
